|Each visit is $20 - $40 pay-what-you-like fee. |
You decide how much to pay based on what you feel comfortable paying, taking into account how many treatments you'll be receiving and for how long. Your acupuncturist will discuss a treatment plan with you on your first visit, and make recommendations about how often you should come in. The purpose of the sliding scale is to make it possible for you to come in often enough and long enough to really feel better. Our goal is to allow more people to receive health & wellness care regardless of their finances.
Cash and checks are gladly accepted, but we do not take credit cards. Payment is expected at time of service. A $20 late cancellation fee will be applied to all missed appointments of a non-emergency nature occurring with less than 24-hour advance notice.
|Standard fees are $145 for an initial 2-hour combined consultation and treatment, and $85 for each subsequent 1-hour treatment. A sliding scale payment schedule is available for students, seniors, and others who could benefit from treatment and are currently experiencing financial hardship. Barter may be conditionally accepted. Please inquire for details. |

For both Community Acupuncture and Individual Acupuncture, you are responsible for full cash payment at the time of each treatment, as the practitioners at Keystone Acupuncture do not accept insurance. However, an increasing number of plans are providing for acupuncture treatment. Please call your insurance provider and ask if it provides reimbursement for acupuncture and the specific terms and conditions for your reimbursement.
Your record of treatments will gladly be processed with a diagnostic code, and documentation will be provided to you so that you can seek reimbursement according to your plan.
